Absolutely not. I'm ashamed to admit that before my first class I actually put out a cigarette on the way in. I just needed a change and I wanted to become a better person. Now I have more friends than I can count and at 40 Im in the best shape of my life.
Our promotions are based on both skill and character. Our belt system is based off the IBJJF Graduation System. As a student it is better to focus on getting better, do not ask to get promoted.
We offer classes for kids 6 and up, however exceptions can be made depending on the child's willingness to pay attention and learn. The best thing to do is try some classes and see how it goes.
Yes! Our Instructors are available for PRIVATE LESSONS so feel free to schedule a time by speaking with us. Private lessons definitely accelerate your progress.
